When I am in need of mothering I do some of the same things - I reach for my totems and my "sisters." I truly believe we are all connected in this web of life and when we tug on the web we are heard and nurtured. There is a special song we sing at a retreat I go to (my ultimate nurturing) and the words say, "To all my ________ (Sisters) where ever you may be...To all my _______ (sisters) however you may be....We wrap you round with infinite love and wisdom." So today reading your blog and hearing that you are hurting I want you to know that I'm wrapping you around (like a super soft, squishy, colorful blanket) with infinite love and wisdom my friend.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979779346417987447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2733812559283418635.post-81633030924544351272013-09-28T16:32:03.239-04:002013-09-28T16:32:03.239-04:00Dear Darlene, your presence here means much to me....Dear Darlene, your presence here means much to me. Almost any female animal can do that automatically and we have too many of them doing it without thought to the consequences of their actions. It is the natural instinct in us to nurture that makes us a mother of all living things. You do that so well with your research, your teachings your mentoring and your art. You have certainly 'mothered' me by allowing me to read and learn from you and revel in your successes at all you undertake. So rest easy and enjoy what you do so well.
