Je ne sais quoi. (Art by Hallelujah Truth, aka Ruth Schowalter) |
REVERB15 (Day 9) Prompt: What if you had to give someone a recipe for how to make a YOU? What major ingredients are required? What method do you recommend? How would your je ne sais quoi be recreated?
That's Coffee with Hallelujah! SOUL BLOG with me. I invite you to write a recipe using words for me. If you want to create an image, dance, poem, or song, please post on my Facebook group, The Daily Creative Practice.
I'm also interested in your self recipe. What is it?
Add lot of texture, smidgen of color, musical notes, inspiration, hope...Stir gently and leave until matured...Then set free
ReplyDeleteDarlene you are speaking my language! Thanks for providing these ingredients for you? for me?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, vibrant image! I love the intense redness of it, and the eyes in the butterfly's wings are mesmerising.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you noticed the eyes on the butterfly's wings! The butterfly represents a psychological "seeing"! And the RED! Yes! That is an ingredient! Passion!
DeleteHallelujah indeed - what a fabulous response to the prompt! My contribution word to the recipe of you is Heartist.
ReplyDeleteWheeeeee...HeARTist! Thank you for this gift Deborah!
DeleteHmmmmm... I, as usual, am not sure what your image says about the wonderful alchemy that is you, but I'm drawn to it. So, perhaps it says you're part magnetic. The recipe that is me is a strange admixture of mischievous Foozle, scheming clam head, and reflective goose. Joyfully stirred to the rhythms and lyrics of Patti Smith, whiling whipping in too much pizza, cigarettes and some cheap watery beer. All reduced to its essence in high contrast monochrome.
