IMBIBING ART OF OTHERS: CURIOSITY, CONNECTION, ELATION--resulting in COMMUNITY!

WE ARE NOT ALONE! (Frank Hyder, Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery, photo by Hallelujah Truth)

WE ARE NOT ALONE in THE DAILY CREATIVE PRACTICE! Hallelujah for the CREATIVE SPIRIT and those who do the practice! We have numerous companions, fellow sojourners seeking to express the untouchable, immaterial in a tangible, visible form! We are so fortunate to be able to visit and imbibe their imaginative work at exhibits in our communities!

Last night, Friday evening, April 5, 2013, my Chiboogamoo and I sought out the expression of this untouchable, immaterial abstract aspect of our humanness in PAINTINGS at an art opening in our community at  Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia, USA!
CAPTURING THE UNSEEN!  I am drawn in by the darkness inhabited by this white flying bird. Is that spirit? And what of the pears on the table? (Karen Hollingsworth, Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery, photo by Hallelujah Truth)
There were paintings that drew me in, and I captured them with my I-Phone, honoring them, holding them in my hand, amazed. I was not always careful, however, to collect the artists' names and did not write down the titles of the images, so please forgive me for that discourtesy. The captions you see are mine and reflect my response to the image.
HONORING THE FEMININE!  This partial image of a larger painting asked me to pause and have a conversation. "Who are you?" I asked her. "Who am I in relation to you?" (Jeanie Tomanek, Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery, photo by Hallelujah Truth)
ANOTHER CROWNED WOMAN!  But was does the crown mean here? This photograph only captures a part of this collage. You can see the gallery space in reflection of the glass. I am sure that the wings worn by this woman were made of ice. The image engaged me but I didn't fully understand it. The Spanish written on the document created a language barrier. I need to know more.  (Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery, photo by Hallelujah Truth)
BEAUTY WITH A CROSS, A PLANE, A BIRD ON HER FOREHEAD!  Imagery inspires different ideas. Isn't this woman beautiful? What is she communicating? For me, I will say that this image represents a vulnerability while at the same time, this vulnerable woman is at the center of all things and an integral part of the Earth. Perhaps, dear pilgrims and fellow creatives, you have seen a progression here in the I presented the images I saw last night at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery. I begin with COMMUNITY (school of fish by Frank Hyder), followed with an acknowledgment of the SPIRIT (image by Karen Hollingsworth), honored the FEMININE (with multiple images), introduced the MASCULINE (meditating man), began to conclude with SEEING (eyes of the cat and fish) and finally concluded with the VASTNESS of the Earth that we inhabit, leading out into the endless universe.

That's Coffee with Hallelujah! SOUL BLOG with me. Tell me about your community of artists, so that you do not feel isolated in THE DAILY CREATIVE PRACTICE.  Where do you venture out to commune with like-minded spirits? Who are these fellow creatives?
