LOST CERTAINTY IN 2012. I am no longer sure of what IS and what IS not! (photo by Chiboogamoo at Hastings Reserve and artified by Hallelujah Truth) |
Hallelujah for NOT KNOWING. 2012 offered me a skyfall into UNCERTAINTY. Who I am and what I mean to others fluttered away this past year, like butterflies migrating to a distant land thousands of miles away. POOF, GONE, LOST...
This is my mantra:
NOT GOOD. NOT BAD. JUST IS.
(repeat as many times as you need to--I do!)
I DON'T KNOW! |
However, I have been summoned by the BOGEYMAN or GOD or the HOLY WOMAN who is asking me to GUFFAW and relinquish being THERE at that MATURITY POINT. Instead I will wrangle with the cowboys riding horses into horizons with setting suns, and sailors in ships raising sails with gushing winds blowing them to distant lands.
GUILTY OF SEEKING! I sing Hallelujah to my LIFE. I am guilty of seeking answers to the important questions of my life and for not knowing the answers. LIFE cannot be learned like a student cramming for an exam. Rather it is to be experienced like a fine wine. SIPPED and SAVORED. (photo by Chiboogamoo at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and played with by me.) |
I have a new mantra (gratas of Elise Witt):
IN THESE TIMES
IN THESE UNCERTAIN TIMES
I WILL REMAIN OPEN
TO THE MIRACLE OF
EACH MOMENT!
That's Coffee With Hallelujah! SOUL BLOG with me and share your losses in 2012 and intentionalities in the new year.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Many thanks to the Voegelis for hosting during this winter celebration and providing the MIRACLE of friendship that warmly illuminates. As always, thanks to Kat at "I Saw You Dancing," for managing #REVERB12.
You did not lose certainty....you gained the realization that uncertainty is the norm. Seems like you are embracing that knowledge.
ReplyDeleteA tiny 18K gold charm I sent my daughter was lost (stolen?) in the mail. I did not track or insure it.
It was engraved with her name, little round turquoise stones and the date of her birth---2.21.1972. It was given to me for her at the time of her birth in Turkey for good luck.
